Colorado Leaf Peeping 2025

Fall is by far my favorite season, especially when the end of 14er season overlaps with college football and the fall color change. Jade and I went leaf peeping last week in Breckenridge and Silver Plume and it was pure heaven. I wanted to share some of the amazing pictures I got of us for those of you who may not have a chance to go (or who live in places that don’t get as much fall color change).

Jade is a mini-mountain goat and loves hiking!! You can tell by the smile on her face that she’s so happy being outside (and getting lots of snackies in the process).

Sporting her Purdue hoodie of course

I’m still trying to figure out which mountain that is in the distance. It could be one of the numbered pass in the Ten-Mile Range, Atlantic or Pacific Peak, or Father Dyer. Does anyone know?

We started at the top, and this is the opposite trailhead at the bottom.

Moving on to Silver Plume below.…

These pics of her with the leaves are everything.

We stopped and had lunch on the trail

The aspens weren’t even at peak color yet and they were still stunning.

Stay tuned for more leaf peeping from Kenosha Pass and Guanella Pass.

Happy Trails,

Stacey and Jade
